Staffing and Activities
Babies and toddlers under 2 years of age have a staffing ratio of 1 adult to every 3 babies. Children who are 2 years have a staffing ratio of 1 adult to every 4 children. and Children aged 3 and over have a staffing ratio of 1 adult to every 6 children.
Most of our educarers have at least a Level 3 in childcare, with our day nursery manager, deputy manager and supervisor have attained Level 5 and our owner having previously been a teacher and deputyhead of a primary school.
All activities offered are designed to be both age and stage appropriate, using a multi-sensory approach and meet the care, developmental and learning needs of the whole child, covering cognitive, physical, social, emotional and kinaesthetic areas.
CCTV is in operation within our nursery to further ensure the safety and safeguarding of our children and our staff.
